New Years Eve Party In New England?

So, here's a thought! I know that there have been several gatherings recently....I'm new to the board so maybe this has gone on for awhile. What about New Years Eve? I have a large house outside Danbury Connecticut in Newtown (within several hours drive from anywhere in Mass, CT, RI, Eastern NY, Eastern PA) in Newtown. My WAW is going to be in the Carolinas so I thought why not have a New Years Eve party. For those with kids...I was thinking bring 'em if you'd like. I have a full basement with a media room and pool table....so, the kids would have plenty to do while we visit. Anybody that lives further away is welcome to come as well. I am within 1.5 hours of all the major NY airports...3 hours or so to Boston...1 hour to Hartford.

I'll watch this thread to see if interest builds..then we can start talking details.
