I'm having one of those days. My W is distant and I know she is thinking about the OM - not just because she's distant but because of many signs I've seen today.
So my question is: What do you do when you know your S is thinking about the OP? Do you ignore it, confront it, ask questions or just suffer in silence?

None of the above.
"Act-as-if" your ASSumption (after all, you don't know for sure) that she's thinking about the OP is incorrect, and that it might just be something else.
"If it were me" , I think that I wouldn't really say anything. Maybe make a special trip to the room she's in, give her a hug, and say "that was all", and leave the room. Maybe bring her a nice cool or warm drink of whatever she likes. Do something that's small, yet special to her.
Bridge the gap of the distance you're feeling with a small action, not words, and see where it goes from there.

hey Jag, there you are. I also like to assume all sorts of things, when we go by the avenue that leads to OP's home and my H looks that way I "just know" he is thinking of her. He could be remembering something... or he could be thinking about how he left the iron on.
Not making light of your sitch, I also get the "he's prob thinking of her" vibes, but we'll have to choose choice B. he/she is WITH ME. It took them a while to come back to us, it might take them a while to totally exorcize the OP out of their mind. So let's say he/she is thinking of her, we could get defensive.. or remind them, as John said, with a kiss, a hug, that we are the ones there for them.
Patience is the game, hope you guys are doing great)))
