I started working out to Carmen Electras Stripper series this morning. It's quite a workout. Maybe if I workout sexy, I'll begin to feel sexy? What do ya'll think?
I don't mind the sun sometime
The images it shows
I can taste you on my lips
And smell you in my clothes
Cinnamon and Sugar
And softly spoken lies
You never know just how you look
Through someone elses eyes

HD, I think you would find Carmen much more able than I am. I haven't done a plie in over 30 years. There's more to it than pelvic thrusts .

I'm remembering back to when I was learning step aerobics..... I'm betting you're not going to feel sexy doing it right away, but once you get the hang of it....heck yeah. Hey, do strippers have new moves and outdated moves? Ya know, like, no one would do the Macarena in a dance club anymore.....I wonder if some strippers watch others and think 'Oh my god Becky, look at her moves...' Ya think? My point is, do you need to 'keep up with it' or is it more like once you know how to move, you know how to move and that's all there is to it?
"Happiness is a butterfly, which, when pursued, is always just beyond your grasp, but which, if you will sit down quietly, may alight upon you."
heather, I don't know. I haven't seen strippers outside of the pole dancer on various cop programs (it seems like all cops on tv have meetings/work out important details on the case in strip clubs). I don't know what is outmoded, but I would be willing to bet that a lap dance will never go out of style.

I think... personally... that the difference between feeling awkward and really good, about yourself, is confidence. So hang with the tape... learn a few moves... once you have them down... you will begin to feel confident about what you are doing... and you can build from there.
Remember. Keep it simple, but no simplier. Baby steps. Before long... that girl grows into a woman... and then WATCH OUT!!!!!!!!!!
I agree with Corrie, it's got nothing to do with the "moves" it has everything to do with self-confidence and how comfortable you are with YOU. Once you are comfortable with YOU then you will find yourself doing things in a much more sensual manner....or at the very least in a manner that will come across to the opposite sex as more alluring
Just have fun. Revel in being a GIRL!! Don't try to be perfect. I think we very often just forget to have fun when moving our body in exercise - strip aerobics or otherwise.
BTW - there is another "strip DVD series called the "S" factor by Sheila Kelley. One is for pole dancing and I believe her website sells stripper poles, the other is just floor dancing.
Besides surfing, striptease is one of the few exercises that I can get excited about.
I am depressed and sore this morning, but determined to keep up the workout. I want to have a short routine ready for my H on our anniversary.
