The only problem I have with it is when considering abusive spouses. It does not address those issues, and while I understand the thrust behind the philosophy, and actually agree with a good bit of it... I also think that this article takes a generalized approach to a very 'generalized' definition of marriage.
This article does a good job with somehting I touched on a while back. It had to do with idolatry of relationship - idolizing relationship to the extent where you will sin to get it or sin if you don't get it. Women tend to commit this particular sin more than men - even to the extent of staying in an abusive R wheras men tend to commit idolatry in the form of work.
