I am home with S13 & S9 watching a movie "Sky High". I am content. Hope, I hade goldfish a few years ago for about 2 years. They got too big for my bowl so I let them loose in a pond at the local mini-golf couse I worked at. They saw them a couple of years later in the same pond. Do you beleave that? Hey, we have some pizza left over. Anybody want some?

I've got some leftover pizza to donate. Teenagers haven't obliterated it yet! Quick. Grab a piece!

If I had a glass of wine, I'd be asleep in under a minute. Thanks anyway. I'll stick to beer tonight. Plus, for me, wine really gets my engine going, if you know what I mean . Have to avoid that at this juncture of my life.

Oh, 2 years is longer than I thought. Maybe I should get some then. I might go look this week. I'll just fill up the house with pets since H. is gone!

Pizza...sure! Bring it!

Hey Hope, You sound perky this weekend. Just my opinion on the fish, but I don't think you should keep goldfish in a bowl, it is really too small. They need a largish tank, or even a pond. (learnt this the hard way ).

But if you want a fish for a bowl, you could get a Siamese fighting fish. They don't mind cramped conditions and are simple to look after. Have fun choosing your new additions to the household

Hiya Hope-

How strange was last night- sounds like half the board was in last night! Me... H gone off to his friend's place for the night, so after S3 was in bed, I was in my flannel PJ's, ate some pizza, and watched "Bride and Predjudice"... a fun, Indian take on Jane Austin's book... had the whole "Bollywood" things going on and everything.

Fun how even with distance, we all share some common expereince- to one degree or another!

Hi petite,

Yes, you're right! Pizza and a movie for you, too, last night!
I have a slight headache...only one glass of wine, so it can't be that. Dunno.
I must get to the cleaning projects I had planned for today. Doesn't sound like fun, but they need to be done.

Still no contact from H. and this is day 3. Is he ashamed of what he did Monday? I wish it hadn't gone so badly; I'm still feeling terrible about it.

No contact from H. all weekend; not one call. This is the longest he has stopped contact with me in quite some time. I'm not afraid to admit, it hurts.

It's interesting to point out that he was off both Sat. and Sun. evenings, and therefore could have made the time to come by and pick up the things he left at our house, including the list of the bills he said he wanted so much. But...nothing. So I'm just staying dark in response and will let him initiate the next contact, whenever that is.

I did a lot of reading about MLC this weekend and I know not everyone here agrees with the idea of it, but honestly the things my H. has said and done are like he literally read the same articles I did and followed them to the letter. So I have to believe there is really something to this. It doesn't mean he will come back, but it helps me understand why all this happened.

Anyway, time for coffee and then work. I'll check in with all of you soon. Hugs always.
Hope
