Quote: MSNBC.com and Zogby International asked online readers to share some intimate details about their personal lives, and more than 56,000 adult men and women — one of the largest responses ever to a sex survey in the United States — revealed:
. . . 'Sex is alive' in America Most people who took the survey reported being in long-term monogamous relationships. But far from the stereotype that monogamy means the end of bedroom bliss, sex is a big part of their lives. Over 60 percent reported having sex within the last day or week.
Almost two out of every three couples are having sex at least once a week and a quarter report having sex more than three times a week, the survey found.
"Sex is alive and well in America," says Wentzel. "There are a substantial number of people who are having lots of sex."
"Everything that happens, happens. Everything that, in happening, causes something else to happen, causes something else to happen. Everything that, in happening, causes itself to happen again, happens again."
Lots of people having sex? My guess is that this poll is skewed a little by the younger generation. I would like to see this broken down by age groups. More the 1/3 of all couples are havinf sex less then ONCE a week. That is almost a sexless marriage. Only 1 in 4 is having sex 3 times or more a week. This is NOT good, less then 25% of couples are actully having enough sex.
