I say go on the dang trip! A year from now the money won't matter one bit, but the memories will be worth a million bucks. Life is short and unpredictable. You might never get this particular chance again. Alaska is spectacular! GO!! He can get glad in the clothes he got mad in.
Okay, you guys have convinced me. AK here I come! Prepare for reports of all heck breaking loose. I may have to add the expense of a new countertop to my trip total.

Quote: P.S. I'm pretty sure I have to switch flights in St. Louis, so maybe my anonymous friends can meet me for drinks at the airport.
Oh Lambert...I already feel your pain. That is one of my least favorite airports to fly to or through. Chances are if you have to change flights there you will be going from one side of the complex to another around construction (has there ever been a time when that airport was NOT under constructon!?!)--little, if any, time for drinks needless to say. Nonethelesss, enjoy the trip, Jen.
Well the deed is done and MrW is quite unhappy as predicted. He actually brought up the fact that I won't be available to cook for him for the week and he told me that there was no way he was going to help my Mom move tomorrow now. He stomped out of the house to go pick up some paperwork from work. What do you think the odds are that I'm going to get laid this weekend?
