RE csw We held each other while listening to our favorites. It started to feel like old times again. Sunday morning, I woke W up with a bit of a surprise, and we made love for the first time in what seemed like an eternity

WOW! Way to go. What a story. Happy to see things so improved and you won.

Lou

Yay!!! I'm so happy for you.

There will be bumps in the road ahead. When you hit them, you know where to come to get yourself back on track.

Meanwhile, if you do any celebrating that involves that home brew, I'm there!

Enjoy your second honeymoon.

I KNEW IT!

I'm so happy for you, C.

I almost wrote asking, Who is she?, since you hadn't updated and it turns out it's W.

Life is good.

Keep it up and check in when you have time. You did it, friend!

H.

I appreciate all of the back slapping, but there is much work yet to be done, and perhaps the hardest work is yet to come. The road to recovery is narrow and bumpy, but at least I am not walking it alone.

I am making up for lost "time" at every opportunity I will not hesitate to create opportunity to ML. We had a very nice evening last night. I asked W to go out fo rdinner, but she was a bit late from work, so I made some tasty dinner, and we drank a whole bottle of wine. She asked if I was trying to get her drunk. I said I wanted to take advantage of her. She laughed and said "You're bad" (I think what she was trying to say is "I'm good" ) After dinner, we finished our wine on the front porch, and then retired for the evening

W asked me to go out to dinner tonight instead. She said she had to go shopping for birthday presents for some of her family. I asked when the party was, and she said tomorrow. She asked if I wanted to go, and I said "of course I want to go."

One day at a time. The time has come to rebuild.

CSW:
Damn, dude. You totally rock.

I wish you the best, and want to tell you that, whenever I felt crappy about what I was going through, I thought about how strong you were in a situation that was much more tense, much closer to the brink, and much sadder than mine. I look toward you as an inspiration. When people tell me to be a "man of steel," I think of you.
