I wished for a change in routine. Something to shake things up. I guess I wasn't specific enough in my request to the Ground of All Being. The something different came in the form of weird virus x 3, flu x 4, and strep x 2! We are now all either medicated, fatiqued, or just beleagured.

On another note, I thought about times when the tingly feelings show up. They do come when I have something to look forward to. Boredom kills my tinglies. Trips, big new joint projects, Christmas, the start of summer vacation. Viruses don't jump start my tinglies.

What are some things you can do differently to banish boredom? Wear a different outfit? Fix an outlandish meal for dinner?

In my mind, the cure for boredom doesn't necessarily have to be going away for a vacation or whatever..just anything that makes your partner do a double take. Anything that makes them think, Hey! I didn't think he/she would do THAT!

Something to keep yourself interesting to him and, most importantly, to yourself.

Good luck to you and hope all of you are feeling better soon! That really sucks the joy outta life, doesn't it? We've had various strains of crud going thru our house this entire month, also.

Take care,
HP
