I started my second class in Graduate School. It's Language, Gender, and Culture. Should be fun. One of my classmates from the first class was in this class. She sat next to me and we chatted. A new friendship!!
Husband and I worked out this morning. We did spot the skunk...next time, I'm bringing a flashlight! I was watching the ground where the streetlights didn't reach, cause it was really dark, and I knew if the skunk was in there, I wouldn't be able to spot it.
I told Husband we needed to be careful...he said not to worry as, if the skunk was in that patch, we'd see him.
Well, as he was saying that...I suddenly spot a very bushy, angry looking tail running along the ground in a path parellel to us. In the dark I couldn't tell if it was coming our way or not!
I stopped, Husband stepped closer to the skunk, both of us clapping loudly. Skunk vanished..but I'm definately taking a flashlight next walk!
Oh...and how bout this for some positives...while I was in class, Husband called my turned off cell phone to leave me a helpful message on what bus to take back to work.
He'd dropped me off in front of my class building and when he got to work he looked up the bus schedule for me.
Uuugh! Skunks! My neighborhood is practically infested with them! ... and they don't get along well with stray cats either! Every so often in the middle of the night we will here a "cat" fight, and then that odor invades the house. Having the windows closed doesn't even help. It seems to seep thru the walls. It can ruin a good night's sleep.
Glad to see you're still writing down those positives.
EWWWW! What a disgusting subject! So I'll mosey on past it right now, and ask you how you and your H are doing on the joint exercise regimen? Have your results been good?
Just checking on my fitness and diet buddy today...
