I will say that if my W had not left, was not in MLC, I would probably wait a few more years before buying a bike. The challenge is that I really, really enjoy spending time with my kids. I like being part of a family. I have difficulty thinking of activities that I would do for myself. And that isn't sad. I just had a very fulfilling life so I have not wanted for much.

mmf,

Do it! Be extra safe, but do it. I agree that you weren't asked before you were shoved onto the roller coaster. Being the nice guy that you are, I know you'll find a good way to let her know.

Uh, just thinking here as someone been riding for a few years.

If the first bike is not the ultimate bike you would want later, the starter bike will be good for learning on, but don't expect to live on it more than about a year.

At that point you either got it out of your system, or got focused on the next bigger better upgrade model you MUST have. So when you do long term budget thinking, don't assume after paying this one off you will never need more bike money.

It is like Lissett or the other DB hotties here never needing another pair of shoes. No way, not gonna happen.

Was, everyone around me looked over as I read your post because I chuckled noticeably.

I have heard that is true. The bike is pretty decent for a first time bike: a 97 Kawasaki Vulcan 750. Since it is watercooled and shaft driven it should hold up for awhile and I won't be chomping at the bit for something better for the next couple of years. Who knows? I just want to get in the game.

W2S makes a good point about budgeting money for another bike. Can't hurt and who knows. I actually considered buying one, but not gonna happen right now. Even though I do look smashing with the leather ponytail holder on. Too many shoes to buy.

Since there's no smiley with bugs you'll just have to have someone take a picture of you with the bugs and then post it. I can't wait!

Since I am discussing my own MLC, if I start to lose my hair should I do a comb-over?

Also, if I have an A, should the OW be old enough to vote or should I go younger? Because why would I want to have something in common like age, history, family, social skills and maturity?

Rogaine or implants.

They don't make poles long enough for me to touch that with.
