You sound really in a good place, despite the uneasiness at times. I am proud of you! Keep it up, you are doing well even when you don't believe it. My H is in the house, and I'd give anything to have him be distracted by the way I look (I do look great, he just doesn't see it anymore)!
\o/\o/\o/ Three cheers for you!
Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Is 43:18-19
If it seems slow in coming, wait. It's on its way. It will come right on time. Hab 2:3

One thing my hubby has opened up to me about lately is the way I handled getting his attention. He has said that sometimes a man will not notice your new haircut or the 5 lbs you worked so hard to lose (insensitive yes, I know) but that doesnt mean he doesnt notice you period. I think with men, they require a little less subtlety. Sometimes a little shock and awe is necessary. If you are really shy, maybe you could try being aggressive. Maybe do something a little wild, a little adventureous. I am not an expert and I dont know your personal situation very well but would love to hear what you think.
