Trust me, 1210 I did that stuff too. In my post I just mentioned a few things I did and how I kept in check my bad habits. We're both social workers and if I said "how does that make you feel" she'd go through the roof! I think she was very tired, angry and took it out on me. Honestly, I thought it had been going very well and then I took that pee break In the past I also was the one to close off conversations at around midnight so I think she figured that time was coming and that pissed her off too. In the situation she was discussing with me, I was with her all the way... I think she's being crapped on too. When she is like this, she reacts emotionally to everything and sometimes, as in this case, it made no sense! She's feeling enormous stress right now, it's Xmas time, also that time of month for her and there are issues with both daughters (one behaviour and the other dealing with her teacher). I guess in one way it would be so much easier to deal with if she would just shut me out completely so I can adjust. It's like walking on eggshells, never knowing what the next hour will bring. But, the grass always looks greener elsewhwere, doesn't it. If she shut me out, I'm sure there would be just as many difficulties with that. So, again, what is is and I (like everyone else here) must carry on. I'm still a bit under the weather, this friggin thing just has a life all its own. My balance is fine again but I'm just worn out. Makes it doubly hard to get the old PMA going. I will overcome!!!! Oh, forgot to mention, tonight is oldest daughters dance performance, she takes hip hop. It will be nice to give her some hugs and congrats tonight. The whole family is going, youngest insists on missing her training to see big sis perform, that's great. W is coming too, hopefully it will be a wonderful family evening.
