Thanks David. It only worries me so much because he is bipolar or has split personality or SOMETHING. He is starting to understand that there is something wrong with him. It's been scaring him, and I've been trying to convince him to go to the hospital. He went to the crisis center the other day and spent the day there. He says, "He has to fight for control most of the time" . . . and that is scary especially when he starts talking about killing himself.
I understand that suicide attempts are usually a "cry for help" and talking about it is better than just doing it, etc etc etc. BUT with his current mental health . . it's scary. I still haven't heard anything. I'll call in to his Grandma's later and see if he's at least shown up somewhere. It hurts to think that he took me for granted again . . . but I'd rather that than to have him be dead.

Half the world is bi-polar. HA! sorry...
Does he drink? A lot? Be honest.
If he drank a lot then stopped, he's going through withdrawals. There's medication to help this. He's going to be quadra-polar if he's going through withdrawals. Certain medications can quell the cravings, others can quiet the withdrawal symptoms, still others can restore the balance in brain chemistry lost through alcohol and drug abuse.
