What is an act of service that you can do for her that isn't on her to do list, but comes from your heart?

Return her library books? Vacuum her car? Clean the fridge inside and out and under? Fix the leaky faucet? Brush her hair? Dig up the garden? Clean out the light fixtures? Work on the noisy bathroom fan?

Choosing to fix something spontaneously that I haven't even thought of trying to get fixed and then fixing it when I can watch definitely does it for me.

Even better, having your *own list* of 3-4 items that you work through simply out of thoughtfulness and love when she is around to enjoy it may really float her boat :-) These items aren't instead of the items on her list, they are in addition to -- they are a gift from the heart.

Good one, I'll try that. It's hard to fit it all in between the "real" list.

Oh, yes, and it was the $80. But my FOO was big into gifts, so before I figured out what I was doing, I just did it how I was raised!
