Re HP
I love you all!

I understand the feelings about leaving. BTDT (feelings wise) myself.

Thanks for all you have shared with your cyber friends and for a look into your life, your challenges and your gains.

The one thing I saw in your posts is the amount of time and energy you put into your R with your H.

Be well and hugs to you, your girls, and a manly pat on the back to Mr. HP.

How about a monthly up date? We will all miss you greatly.

Back to you HP,
I/we love you all!

Lou

Well Lil, I guess it is because I have a tendency to escape into this reality here instead of being a more active participant in my real life. I have no idea what I will fill the minutes with, to tell the truth!

I think I have a tendency to borrow trouble when there isn't any to be found, out of sheer boredom and restlessness. My M is pretty good, so what am I still doing here? Why haven't I ridden off into the sunset yet? Let me tell ya, the reasons have nothing to do with being sex starved!

It is going to be a hard habit to break, but I've broken worse.

I will leave my email address for you guys as soon as I can remember it. I don't give it out often (obviously it's not our 'family' addy).

I will miss you all! I'm having blackie and karen and lfl and chrome and lou and hairdog withdrawals already. I know I left out about a zillion people..oh yeah, Jenny and SD and GGB and the nops and tim and lass and corri and julie and my dear journey.

sniffle.

XO to you all....

I totally understand. I needed the break, too. I did some lurking and was just so blown away by the wit and wisdom around here that I couldn't stay away. I read several other bulletin boards regularly, one of them for over five years, and NO WHERE do I find the insight, articulateness, depth, and sensitivity that I have found in this group as a group. Other boards have smart, articulate people, but this group has a synergy that is IMHO unique.

This is such a fabulous community of people, maybe I'll start a thread just to talk about books, movies, household repairs, pets, cute stuff the kids did, jokes, etc. with no mention of sex allowed. The trouble is that if we log in to check THAT thread, the temptation to check out the sex-related threads will be pretty powerful.

This is truth. Intelligent women are a PITA. So high maintanance. always making drama. gosh a guy just wants some peace and quiet.

I have a tendency to escape into this reality here instead of being a more active participant in my real life.

Is this?

Let me tell ya, the reasons have nothing to do with being sex starved!

YEAH!!!! ANOTHER SUCCESS.

Well whatever. do what you need to, to be healthy. Damnit. I was just going to pull Heatherg over to this forum. Its where she belongs, and she could really use some 2x4ing from you. oh well her loss.

And Gels still here.

here --have a hankie. Quit your sniffling, you chose it. humf. <bf muttering WOMEN. ugh. they irritate me. you have to teach em e v e r y t h i n g. Its all or nothing with them.... no sense of balance.... darnit-- Im gonna miss her >

Chrome Withdrawal: noun; a strong feeling that someone is really fcuking something up and needs to be smacked. See spidey-sense.

Hey, I've got an idea folks. This is her last thread. That means until it gets locked, she can't leave. Mu ha ha ha. Let's all bow and scrape to the gods of the SSM to never lock this thread.

Well, HP, I am not as gracious and mature as the others...still having a tantrum about you leaving. I understand how the BB can fuel the negativity we feel towards our spouses, but I have to say that you often would be my H's defender, helping me to see things in another light. He doesn't know it, but he's going to miss you too.

Hi HP and bye!

I totally understand your reasons for wanting to leave the board. My own use of these BBs has been quite sporadic and I do tend to take long breaks when I feel I am doing too much navel-gazing here and not enough real living in the real world.

Take care, and pop back and see us when you can. I've certainly found your insights helpful - you'll be missed.
