Somebody told me something the other day ... what was it? Something like this:

A friend is a person who will bail you outta jail. A best friend is the one sittin' next to you, saying, "Damn that was fun!"

That's me and you, bigAl!

Oh, here's another small update:

I asked my L to include a small, handwritten note on the papers I'm serving H and the letter I'm sending OW that says, "Hope it was a good piece of ass!"

Ya think he'll do it???

Gimme 4 months, and I'm a travelin' momma, GF! But don't tell anybody I'm so bad ... might tarnish my otherwise gleaming character. And did you say trouble? Me? Trouble? Heh.

When your H runs like mine has, there's nothing really *new* to report on the homefront. That's why I guess I get a kick outta the little things that happen -- like today.

For four or five months, H has come by once a month to put the telephone bill (which is mailed to him because it's in his name) in my back door. He's never opened it or anything. Until this time. And he made it very obvious that he opened it. Didn't even keep it in the original envelope. He put the bill in the envelope that I'll be mailing the bill back to the phone company in.

Wonder if this is a little retaliation effort on his part since I pulled all his cell phone records last month to get "evidence" of his A with OW. Hmmmmm...

I guess if that was his intent, he was more than a little disappointed. As always, I'm squeaky clean. But I'm learning how -- well, how do I put this? Is ignorant the word I'm looking for? -- my H really is. Does he really think I'd be dumb enough to place calls to someone "suspicious" from my home phone? Puhlease! He's gotta know me better than that by now!

Then again, maybe he opened it accidentally and it's a mere coincidence that he did that less than a month after I checked his cell phone records. Yeah. Maybe it was a coincidence.

Before I got home and noticed that, however, I TMed H to let him know just a couple little quirky news items in my neck of the woods: 1) The house I was renting when we met (which he and I had tried to later buy from my landlord) is for sale. I thought he'd get a kick outta that, and 2) A skateboard company is apparently building a skate park here (and H and I actually met at a skateboard park which later closed; he's really into skateboarding, so I thought he'd find that interesting, too).

I certainly didn't anticipate him responding; if I were making decisions based on his reaction, I wouldn't have TMed him in the first place. But it still impresses me how "cut off" from me he is. I mean, when he severed ties, he severed ties! Unlike many of your sitches, he doesn't call, he doesn't visit ... absolutely nothing (and maybe that's good)! But I wonder why that is. I mean, I guess if you're split, you're split. But d*mn. You'd think he could acknowledge a message or something. In my speculative mind, it's kinda funny. But I won't speculate why, 'cause I might get blasted for speculating. I'm just kiddin', guys.
