Jo,

Make sure you are careful about the pregnancy. I don't like the sound of the pain you are having. Low HCG levels is a sign of an ectopic pregnancy. Low HCG levels along with pain doesn't sound right. I wouldn't wait if I were you. I would be going to the doctor and checking the HCG levels again. How far along are you? If you are far enough along they can do a sonogram to see if the pregnancy is in the uterus or possibly the fallopian tubes. I don't think you should continue to ignore the pain. Ectopic pregnancies can be very dangerous.

Take care,
Sam

Ditto, Jo - if the pain is increasing, it may be time to get rechecked. Especially if you have tenderness when you press on one side or the other of your lower abdomen.

Hi Sam

I'm not worried about that as the pain was in my tubes (dragging pain to the side) and that stopped and now this is different, it's in the middle of my womb and kind of 'all over' and not localized which is not an ectopic symptom.

At the last scan, they said there was fluid in my tubes, but I think that problem rectified itself as the dragging sensation stopped.

I am supposed to be taking these tablets to 'flush' myself out as they reckoned my HCG level was too low, but I haven't taken them as I've already lost 3 babies - if this one is dead I want it to be because of God's will and not down to me. I have enough prior guilt on my hands to last 10 lifetimes, so I am playing this carefully.

In my first two miscarriages, this is what happened to the letter, then I had a massive bleed, was taken to hospital and the scan showed 'fetal tissue', and the HCG had gone down to zero, so considering I am following this same pattern, this is what I expect will happen

Then I also had threatened miscarriage in 2 other pregnancies, including with DD1, and nearly lost her, but luckily, despite low HCG and bleeding for nearly a week, she survived and they managed to detect fetal heart beat.

With DD2 they suspected ectoptic because of similar pain in my tubes, but she turned out to be placed correctly. As my HCG was at a normal level with her, she survived and was born at 8lbs, 5ozs which is huge, considering she has such a tiny mother!

So I'm not overly worried, but quite sad this is another one that probably won't happen

Guys

I've been looking up my book on the net etc, and I was wrong, it is on Amazon already. I just didn't see it the first time.

Here's a list of where it is (so far):

Amazon (USA)

Amazon (Japan)

Amazon (France)

Amazon.ca Marketplace

Booksamillion

Powell's Books

Pickabook

Barnes and Noble (if you're joined to the Barnes and Noble club, you get it cheaper, LOL).

WH Smith Online

Gardners Books

Tesco (British Supermarket - OMG, Andy is going to drown me!)

There are others but I'm sure that's enough. This isn't a blatent marketing appeal, more that I'm just terribly excited at how global I am going!

Thanks Jo,

Maybe I'll suggest it for my book club. It'll be an interesting intro for the author. HMMMMMMMMM, I wonder what they'll say when they know I found the author on Divorcebusting website. !!! LOL

LOL

Julie, which book club do you run, then? The book details our romance/marriage, then it's collapse, the ensuing court drama over the children, my efforts at DB'ing (except I was trained by an English life-coach who didn't call it DB'ing) and the secret on/off sexual affair we had in the middle of all the legal chaos etc. Then it's got his OW1 in it and all the drama with my mother.

I thought at the time it would be the storyline most journalists would kill for which is why I wrote it. There had to be something good come out of this D drama, LOL

OMG, it's on Amazon UK too, and guess what? Gabriel's review is all over Amazon! LOL.

Gabe, you are now famous

You know, what with Andy's ILY, and then BS, all this pregnancy drama and Andy's dad, fighting over the kids and all this book excitement, I think my heart might just pack in. I shall have to try and calm down and be more moderate

Jo,
If your book is made into a movie, who do you want in the lead roles?

Congratulations on "going global" as opposed to "going postal"!!!

What do you mean, IF? LOL. I'm already thinking about whether I will learn script writing or find a talented script writer to do it for me.

As I told Andy, I've already bought my dress for the premere
It's hanging in my wardrobe, waiting for the event!
He thought I was crazy, but never mind

I'd quite like Penelope Cruz to play me as she was really good as that Greek girl in Captain Correlli's Mandolin - I thought she pulled off the role really well.

Andy fancies Kate Winslet so he'd probably love it if she played me, but they'd have to die her hair really dark brown/black or it wouldn't work, LOL. Also, as she is now 29 and looks it, I'm not sure she'd be able to do the earlier scenes (it starts when I'm 16) but I suppose they could make her look 16 with a make up artist.

As for Andy, I don't know. I think Olivier Martinez is a sex God but he's French so that wouldn't work with his accent

Colin Farrell and Aden Young are both quite good looking, although they'd have to dye Colin's hair as I think he is blonde naturally and Andy is dark

Ha!

I'll have to take a look.

Jo, I found myself getting into a funk for a wee little bit last night after returning home from dropping S6 off. Then I read s/t a student of mine read regarding Existentialism and one's approach to life: "One has a need to act. In order to truly be alive, one must take chances, allow change, and overcome hardship via the mindset that life continues, and continues to offer wonderful opportunities for self-actualizing."

I see signs and glimmers of greatness already, but here's to you becoming the very best Jo you can possibly be, and to you being able to reflect at times and enjoy it all.

Take care,

Gabriel
