Hairdog got some this morning.

Because I don't keep count, I won't mention that it's the first, legitimate, fully-complete act of ML this year. No, that would be crass.

Happy Columbus Day, everyone.

(sigh) At least it worked for you, hairdog. If all goes to plan around here, I should be achieving that same milestone...oh...sometime next April. (Of course, that's better than "TBD"...)

It may be a little early for drinking, but I raise a glass to you anyway. Skaal!

You know, I love the sound of those words.

Don't know if I mentioned it, but it was our 6th anniversary on Sunday. We had a very nice dinner date on Saturday night (Quality time), and Sunday, we went to the Buddhist temple (sharing the spirituality) and I did lots of chores and stuff around the house, too. Sunday night, after cooking her dinner, I actually asked for a rain check on a mutual bath I had suggested earlier in the day, as I was too tired.

This morning, since I didn't have to go into work, I went back to bed after doing dog stuff, and she started snuggling me. That was all the invitation I needed, and it went very nicely from there.

Now, if we could only do that a few times a week.

Wow, you lucky bas.... well, you know.

Now remember, don't go asking for more tomorrow, or next week, or anytime for the next, say, two months. That would be "pressure." Oh, never mind. I'm thinking of MY wife, not yours.
