Oh hell no! This book should not be given to anyone under 16, for a start it's really distressing, so don't you dare, Wez!

Re the price, I agree it is a little pricey, but the reason being, it's print on demand so if you want one, the publisher prints one especially just for you and there aren't masses of trade paperbacks lying about everywhere!

Likewise, if a shop makes an order, they are done at the time of order etc etc.

If it's any comfort, by the time you've taken off production costs, publisher's cut and 40% trade discount, I only get about $2.80 profit per book sold, so I'm not going to get rich unless everybody in the world buys one like JK Rowling

Be warned though, it is quite horrible in some parts and you'll either hate X, hate me or hate all of us - so I am preparing to lose all my friends in the name of commericial entertainment

T, your son has autism? I do stuff surrounding this kind of issue for my career.

Have you cut milk out of his diet? Most autistic children improve a bit after being put on lactose free diets. Milk is actually very bad for human (well, cows milk is, anyway). I wrote a book on the subject.

Also, this is going to sound crazy, but older siblings with autism have been found to recover when drinking expressed breast milk (you know, if they have a baby sibling who is breast feeding at the time) - I could find you some info on it if you want, because you could see if there were any breast milk banks where you could get donated milk and see if that detoxs him.

My DD4 has only just stopped drinking mine direct from the mommy and she's over 3 years now!

yes, Jo, he is. and that's what he's on w/the cf/gf diet. Casein Free/Gluten Free - means nothing w/the milk protein (includes milk, whey products, etc.) and nothing w/the wheat protein (which is used in most everything as a binding agent.) The dairy was removed when he was 3 and the wheat when he was 7. Tried that a few times before that but never had any success since wheat can be so addicting.

I have heard something about the breast milk. It's amazing how many different remedies are out there now that this is becoming so epidemic; but I will look into it again. This detox I just started a couple of weeks ago, and was expecting a few days of behavior problems or some ill effects. Instead, he has been in such a delightful mood and has me laughing most days.

Hi

Thanks Bruce, for asking.

I am still in pain but less than before. My neck hurts a lot and under my ears but thankfully my tolerance of sound is very good.

I took DD4 out for a walk today to take my mind off it and I was hearing the traffic and the sound of lawn mowers etc normally.
We had fun picking blackberries, then we fetched the groceries.

My period arrived today (nearly a week early ) so I have to phone the clinic and decide what I am going to do. I really don't want anymore drugs whilst I am still hurting.

Thanks Hope

That was a really sweet message. I am touched that so many people are worried about me.

I phoned the clinic and apparently my early period has messed up their entire schedule and one of the women isn't ready yet so they asked me if they could delay it another month until she's ready.

I said I am still not feeling well so I need time to see if I recover and to research the next drug before I decide whether to go ahead. So I've got a month to see if my health picks up and then it's make my mind up time.

I was thinking of getting some Vaccine Detox from Nature's Sunshine and see if that helps get rid of this earache. I know it wasn't vaccine, but it's a similar principle.

Thanks jdd

I'm still in pain which is why I've not been posting much. It has phases where it eases and then it just comes back. I am quite scared, considering how many years I had it before, but trying to stay positive.

I've been forcing myself to listen to music, which hurts, but it's for my own good because if I shelter myself from noise I will end up with a totally collapsed tolerance of sound so by exposing myself to as much sound as possible, I will quicken my recovery process.

This is what I did last time around and it took me a year of 'noise therapy' to recover! I am aiming to be better within a couple of months, hopefully!

Re the book, yes, I am really excited about it. My career is the only thing keeping me going at the moment.
It's also at my website www.novelbookshop.com and is available as an e-book too.

This morning I paid a website promotion company to advertise my site to 950,000 places on the net to increase my traffic.

I've also just been accepted by eBooks-Online.com and they are in the process of putting the e version on their site.

As well as this, I've got 2 publisher's fighting with me over who gets the publishing rights to the 4th edition of my vaccination book! I haven't decided yet, but will probably go with my existing publisher, depending on what kind of deal he offers me

I'm missing my kids, it seems like they've been gone forever, and I hate to say this, but I'm also missing my X. Ugh. I wish I wasn't. Don't think I will see any of them until September.

X will completely fruit when he gets back and realises my book is for sale all over the world, LOL.

I'm off out now to try and ignore this pain. There's a gala on at the local pub that I am taking DD4 to.

As a second post to that, I've decided to leave for a bit as I'm not feeling well physically, can't contribute much to this forum etc etc.

Thanks everyone and if you want anything, you know where I am.

Jo
