Oh Yeah, I have had just about every test there is at one time or another I think. Fibromyalgia is only more recently being recognized by the medical community. Well, several years anyway. I went for almost 8 years without a diagnosis. It went so far as to have me go see a shrink, told me the pain and tiredness was all in my head. I finally went to back to a clinic I had been to and a dr there looked at my huge file and said, young lady I think I might know what ales ya! Bingo..... finally someone understood. About the IBS, I have been to see a gastro dr, in fact the one that took care of my mother for years. She had Crohns disease and ulserative colitis. He suspects that although I do not have either of those, maybe its the legacy from my mother. My son also has some problems with IBS. Anyway, my dr checked my cholesterol last time I was in there and it was fine. Thanks for the suggestion though
