Woo Hoo JJ - my H is a fan of Star Trek. Bet I could get some if I got a Counselor Troy outfit and went to a trekkie convention!

lol, Karen. I'll bet you'd even make a Klingon outfit look good and I know they get some at conventions.

Ahh, but the Ferengi don't allow their women to wear clothes. That sounds like the best idea to me. But I'm just one of the dreaded HDM - so what do I know?

JJ I too will be turning 40 in January. I have already told my wife all I wanted was her for my birthday., but I won't hold my breath. She hasn't wanted intercourse since the day after our wedding aniversary, and in the past few years she hasn't believed in birthday sex like she did years ago.

Jenny,

May I be so bold as to ask just when is your birthday? Mine's January 9th, so I guess I have a one in five chance of matching.

No match. I'm the 23rd. I can't decide whether I should plan ahead in order to try and avoid depression or just to plan that I will be depressed and prepare myself for the depression. I was shopping with my D13 today and we saw a t-shirt that said "Turning 40 Sucks". I told her that it would make a good gift for me.

What is it about January kids? Likely nothing since EDH is the 6th and HDW is the 14th. I just find it interesting that we are the result of "spring" and yea, birthday sex would be just great thanks..

Dear Jenny,

Math major here too. But I was the nerdiest of the nerds. Must have been a wet noodle of a date back then. If only I'd known what I know now. In many ways, I made out OK in the end, though.

W's b-day is in January. I'm thinking of getting her a (ahem) toy. What do you think?

I'm 42. Turning 40 basically means you won't be able to see the alarm clock at night any more.
