Well, a very rough rule of scale that doctors use for women(which approximates the middle of the normal BMI range for height on the charts) is 100 lbs. plus 5 lbs for every inch. Now mind you, that's just a rough estimate of the middle of the range. My D, although only 14, is fully developed so weight ranges for an adult woman are appropriate. Also, she's pretty muscular. Me, at 5'6", I only weighed 118 as a teen - BUT - I had very little muscle mass, and was a late developer (hmmm, gee, wonder why I was only an A cup at that weight??).
D would look great anywhere between 110 and 130, but I'm glad she's not down around 110, just a little too close to her "tipping point' for my comfort. Many anorexics in recovery do hang around their bottom "healthy" weight - that would make me too nervous!
(BTW, GBO, you look fabulous at the weight you are )
That would put me at 140, which is very healthy for my height, but makes me feel a little meaty on my smaller-boned frame. I feel my best about 5 pounds lighter, and that's where I generally hover.
I guess it depends on your muscle mass, as muscle weighs more than fat.
Hi all, things are good here. Getting ready to go to Japan with h and S17 for a week (S17 has been studying Japanese for 3 years in school). Should be a fun adventure and kind of a neat last trip with just the three of us before S goes off to college next year.
H seems stable and has been very affectionate lately. D14 and S12 are doing well.
