Thanks to all of you for listening to my ranting last night! H is in a foul mood for some reason, continued this morning, I was able to stay pleasant. He had to work this morning, so he's probably just as tired and stressed out as I've been.

Hp asked what I liked about H. He's a good guy. Meaning, he has his own personal code of ethics, and he sticks by what he says. Sometimes to a fault , but it is a rare and admirable trait. He's also very practical. He has a sort of childish innocence about him which can be both sweet and a pain.

What does H like about me? I think, somehow, in the beginning, it was that I was American and a musician, sort of a trophy. I think he admires that I'm a social person, he likes my cooking, and thinks I'm a good mother. He does often tell me he's glad I'm here, that he wouldn't be able to keep everything going the way I do.

VAINAMOINEN: Folk Hero God of The Kalevala, The son of ILMATAR, he spent 730 years in her womb and became so bored waiting to be born that he took matters into his own hands and crawled out. Keep this guy's spell away from HP

Many people say patience is a virtue. VAINAMOINEN (730 years) has it. Is your H trying to emulate him?

I watch a program called "Lonely Planet" on "The Travel Channel". They had a 1 hour program about Finland. Saw where there is a "Wife Carrying Race" where the man carries the woman through a pool of water or across a stream. Also know about the Sauna and branches. Russians do the polar bear swim without benefit of a sauna-not for me.

Wish I could help with the LM for you and H. Can only get my situation to work out sometimes.

FF,

Have you told H what you like about him? Maybe that's a good way to start a conversation. Then again, maybe that's a good way to upset him. If you leave something off "the list" of things, he might be offended.
