Hi Patti,

If they accept my offer then I have to start working a bit faster on the packing!!!

Still I will have a place that I know I am going to be moving too so the future will have a bit of definition.

So GET PACKING GIRL!

Think Positive - Move those boxes!

as an expert packer of many moves
empty the closets of all clothes
now pack all your suit cases with this season's clothes & put them under your bed

Fill the closets with boxes of stuff which you have packed up already
As you pack up each box just label the room it goes into

pick a room which you aren't using
& use it as the packing-storage room & only boxes ready for moving go in it

every day pack up 3-5 boxes
starting with anything & everything which is on the walls
off season clothes if still out needs to get packed up now
o all the extra cooking utensils & dishes - pack em up now
i mean since you are moving you can wait to bake that cake
or that giant turkey until after you move

well i got to go it's almost time for me to go shopping
finally the stores are about to open

if you'd like any more packing/moving tips feel free to ask

Happy Packing & I know you'll enjoy Sunshine Lane

Hi MMH,

Just got back from the grocery store, interesting I piddled more today just thinking of things I might need in my new home.

I think Sunshine Lane has a wonderful sound to it as a new address.

Thank you for the tips on packing. I am afraid my first order of business is to go through all the horse stuff and see if I can sell it.

My horses had an EXTENSIVE wardrobe!!!

They counter offered.

They want $2,137.00 more than we offered and 25 days after closing before they have to be out of the house.

Hi Pam - I too like the sound of Sunshine Lane

Are farm sales a big thing over your side of the pond? We have riding stables all around us, and farm sales is where one goes to pick up stuff like horsey clothes.

Our packing is progressing slowly. But we don't move till July 15th, so loads of time yet...

Have a sun-shiny Sunday, Pam. Slowly.

I think that is weird that you do not get possession at close, & now they want to add days to that. I know it is "allowed" but the 2 houses I have lived in, I got possession at close. Or, w/in about 2 days. I guess your realtor knows what is common in your area. She will be the best to help decide if the counter offer is reasonable.

Try not to worry. It will all work out in the end. Keep us posted.

Hey Slowly,

July 15 will be here before you know it!!

One of the girls who has one of our horses may be able to sell some of the stuff to her clients. I hope so that way I don't have to move all of it and find storage space for it!!

I won't know till sometime tomorrow if they accepted our counter offer back.

So I am going through houses for sale online again. My realtor is NOT going to be pleased if I want to go through more houses.

Hi slt,

The people in the house on Sunshine Lane have just made an offer on another house so I guess untill their offer is accepted and they know when they will get posession they have no place to get out too.

We did counter so we will see if they really want to sell it.

Hi Pam - Keeping fingers crossed your counter offer works.

My plan for a rest on the journey just got thrown out by NG getting moody. And to cap it all, England lost to France yesterday - in EXTRA TIME

Wishing you a magnificient Monday. Slowly.

Morning Pam!

Wow, exciting stuff going on here!

Have you considered charging the Sunshine lane folks "rent" for the time that they would still be in the house after the closing? It's a common practice here where I am.

Can't wait to hear more about the house!
