I know that H feels this way a lot of the time. He SHOULD want sex, so what is the matter with him that he'd rather not?
For him, the erection has nothing to do with it. He is more like the LDW's in this respect. He can have a humongous hardon but his mind can override it every time. I find this to be even more frustrating than the 'nothing' response. To know that his body has responded to me, but his mind still doesn't want me..

Good thoughts. My ex told me once that he just didn't "get the big deal about sex." He said it wasn't something he thought about very often and I suppose someone in that frame of mind would need a little more input to get their motor humming.
Funny, my ex thought his lack of interest in sex made him superior to other men. Either that or he took on a superior attitude to cover the inferior complex he got from knowing his sex drive lagged behind that of the "normal male." He used to say that most guys just wanted to get in a girls pants and that what he offered meant more. I guess it would mean a lot if all you were after was a buddy. Cathy

This is totally true for my H! He sarcastically says things like "I'm sorry I'm not one of those *&%$#s who walks around with a constant hard-on". He even uses this to "put down" my taste in music. He says his old-school favorites The Who are so much cooler than my old-school favorites The Rolling Stones because the Stones only sing about sex.
