Hi everyone!

Weekend update is that it was fun. I did have a spectacular hike on Sat. (spectacular enough that my muscles are still feeling it on Monday)... in which I walked right up to a porcupine... he did not move. Also spotted a great blue heron and other sundry wildlife types. A lovely day!

Missed the danskinetics due to an advertising snafu, but I got there in time for the second half, which was expressive movement therapy. I would normally think of this as not being my sort of thing, but for that reason exactly, it was actually a very good experience for me to have.

Still no word from H. Hmmm. Now I am wondering why he called on Thursday morning...

Today I had a work seminar at a contemporary art museum and took in a tour of the new show afterwards. It was lovely.

And the rest of the week is a whole lot of work.

Oh, joy! She started a new thread!

Your weekend sounds great -- good for you. Especially being open to the change of plan with the movement class...following these unexpected paths can always lead to new things.

Hmmm, very interesting indeed about the calls. I still think you should get Caller ID (and no, I don't work for the phone company). Interesting that H is calling you, and -- if OW is calling you again, I would read that as a good sign, because apparently she calls you when things ARE NOT going well between them! My gut tells me interesting things are afoot again...I eagerly await the next installment.

Btw, a little clarification - you responded to Totally just now, her thread is "Keeping the Door Open", and Randy, he is on Surviving the Big D/What Now aka Taking Care of You.
Both of them would definitely be happy to have a visit from you, Wise One, I am quite sure.

Well... not so wise one would be more apt, no?? I hope that Totally will find it in her heart to forgive me for mixing her post up. Yikes. See what happens when I have too much fun?

I actually did get caller ID at home... BIL gave me an ID box he had. But we don't have it at work. I have a sense something is up as well. Don't have anything to base that on, though. Just a feeling. I hope it is something good!

Oh, it's just a very yucky story of what it took to get me focused on taking good care of myself. Distraction, upset and rainy fog can make one drive off interstate ramps unknowingly and flip over their unsuspecting little jeeps, setting off all sorts of other unpleasant situations I won't go into because I'd need another thread.

Hope no one ever has to go through anything like it... and if they don't get lost in the sitch and do take excellent care of themselves-- physically, emotionally and spiritually, they probably never will!

Hey Wonder~
Sounds like you had a nice weekend! Good for you for tryign something new ~ that is worth extra credit points!!

As far as the phone call...I think it is great that you are detached enough to not obsess over it! Isn't it great how things improve as time goes on ??

Speaking of which...I never flipped my car while in a fog (pretty impressive story...) but I know how it feels to go through life in a fog when you are dealing with too much.

I was talking to a freind about this the other day and I compared the pain of the D to walking through a wall of fire. It is HE** to get through, but the other side is worth the trouble!!

Make sense??

HUGS!!
