Pam,

When is the last time you had an appointment with your doctor to verify whether or not you are at the right level of Zoloft?

Judgeing from your dizziness and fatigue, this might be a possible culprit.

Are you eating enough? Sleeping enough?

Drinking enough water? Vitamins?

During times of stress it's absolutely important for you to take care of yourself.

I'm sorry you are having a rough patch right now.

Please check with your doctor. Make sure your bases are covered.

It was a month and half ago or so since I saw the doctor.

Judgeing from your dizziness and fatigue, this might be a possible culprit.

Not enough would cause these symptoms? Or too much would cause them?

Are you eating enough? Sleeping enough?

I'm eating about like I have been all along. Actually I think I'm eating a bit more. I sleep odd times now. Sometimes take a nap in the evenings as have trouble staying awake then don't sleep all night through.

Drinking enough water? Vitamins?

Probably could up the water, taking vitamin c, b complex and a multi vitamin.

Hey Pam.

Thanks for sharing the post from Sage with us - I may have to pick up that book. A lot of good points were made. I may even have to print it out and add it to my growing collection of wisdom that has been posted on the BB!

Up the H2O - it can't hurt. And weigh yourself to make sure you aren't losing too much too fast. You may feel like you are eating, but you may not be eating enough. Or if you don't have an appetite, when you do eat eat healthy okay?

Being dizzy worries me a bit. It wouldn't hurt to call doc and let her know your symptoms - just touch base.

You are doing great. Keep coming here to "think out loud". You can do this!

Hi totite,

That was a good one from Sage. I want to read the book.

I don't think I'm losing weight anymore. I really am doing the stressed and eating thing right now. I seem to sometimes do the not hungry or the eat all the time. Trying to manage it but do want to weigh to see if I am gaining very much.

Being dizzy doesn't make me too happy either. That is better today thank goodness.

I am going to give it my best shot to manage my emotions through this next week! Thank you for the encouragement.

So Pam - are you going to check in with your doctor today? Just call and leave the symptoms you are having with the nurse and ask them to call you back.

I hate to harp on it, but you have been known to blow off your BB advice in the past -

Have a great day.

Hi totite,

No I'm probably not going to call the doctors office. It is a B*tch to call and is all automated.

I need to call my dentist and cancel my cleaning that is scheduled the same day David has our court appearance, it is 45 minutes after our hearing is scheduled to start so sure I couldn't make the dentist. Tried to call last night and leave message but no recorder.

My emotions are so all over the place today. PMS isn't helping the sitch at all.

I go from I will survive to thinking I need to place the shelties and bail out, and everywhere in between.

I go from wishing David would wake up to wishing David would go to H*LL.

Hey Pam -

Sorry the emotions are getting you today. But just keep coming here and you will get past them.

When I taught smoking cessation, we used to tell folks, when the urge hits, think "This too shall pass". It seems simple, but it works.

Another thought is to do deep breathing exercises. Just close your eyes, take a deep breath in through your nose, and then exhale through your mouth with your lips pursed. That is a great relaxation technique and may get you past some hard moments too.

Lastly, avoiding the doctor may not serve you well in the end. Find the strength to call, ask for the nurse and leave the info. You do not have to talk to the doctor - talking to her staff is fine. She will get the message. Don't you think you owe yourself that much? Think about it okay?

Hang in there!
