Well, am doing the Ak housewife thing today. Am canning halibut. A friend and her hubby got a bunch and offered to give me half if I would can it for them.
So, I will end up with 12 pint jars of halibut. Wooohooo.
I did some with just lemon pepper and then a bunch with garlic rosemary lemon pepper and onion.
YUMMMMY!
And now, I've done something nice for hubby today, too. He loves canned fish.

Well, H called. He seemed to enjoy the pic of Kos our dog. We shot the bull for a few minutes and then he had to get back to work. Told him about the halibut. He was glad.
Mutual male friend just called. He is coming down for the weekend...H won't be here, but it's ok...H trusts him.
We may go clam digging. I can't wait. It should be fun.
Going out to eat with some friends. Can't wait to go. They should be here in an hour. It's a very nice restourant that has a locals' night with cheaper prices for locals. You can get a great meal for 10 dollars. I had beef stroganoff last time I went there on locals' night.
Dressing down cause gal pal is just getting off work driving cab. So, wearing jeans and a casual top. Feel good, though. Did my hair and make up.
Tomorrow have to spend the morning cleaning and then have writers' group coming over. Should be fun.
Probably won't post tomorrow.
Already talked to H. He knows I am going out. I am glad he didn't seem to mind, but I would go anyway. I'm going to make sure that my world no longer revolves around him. I was way too needy before. I love him, but I have to make myself happy.
Dinner out was fun. My girlfriend is encouraging me to get H to come out with us some time. Don't know if he will.
I can only invite him and hope for the best.
Didn't talk to H last night, but he knew I was going out and wouldn't be back until after 9. He gets up at 5 am so was probably asleep by the time I got in from dinner.
Girlfriend is picking me up in a bit. Gotta shop for writers' group. Need paper cups and plates. Gonna just do some halibut spread and crackers and some salad. For drinks? Spiced cider. Tea. Coffee.
Hope I have enough seating...the group can be large or small..from ten to thirty! I can seat about 16 between my living room and dining room.
