pattie - everything does sound good eh? that's cause i put a positive slant on things - that always works!!!

*******************************

POSITIVES

1) boys were thrilled with their room and the youngest one is actually picking up his stuff instead of leaving it everywhere. last night when i was doing the final kitchen clean up for the night, he came in with the last of the snack dishes he had and said 'the room is so clean i don't wanna do anything to mess it up' - for him to bring me the dishes was a 180 for him!!!

2) mmmmm - grilled out again last night - and watched a movie, this time I PICKED IT and he actually really enjoyed it

3) had the opp to be the OLD kitti last night during a pretty intensive conversation regarding the boys, and i opted to just let hubby handle it after i voiced my concerns - and hubby came thru like a champ!!!

****************************

have a blessed day people, and keep a positive slant on things.

The positive slant is pretty cool.

Morning KK!!

I'll bet the boys were thrilled. Heck, just shoveling the trash out of a kids room is work!

This makes me feel better. Combined with the input on my thread about their hygiene, I feel a bit more normal.

Would you and your H like to take a trip to Alaska? You could spend a night in my son's room....LOL
The outside view is phenomenal. The indoor view could use your energy and expertise.
You'd have to sleep closely...there's just a single bed...but it might be romantic...tehehe

Hugs, and prayers,

Hey KK! (((HUGS)))

Wow - doesn't it feel good to purge all that kid stuff!

I made it through all three of their rooms last fall when H took them for weekends. Now H comes over and helps them clean them up. Yippee! The only hard one is my D9 - her room gets out of control the most easily.

Now I am tackling the play room again. The neighborhood garage sale is in two weeks. I am hoping to get rid of a bunch and make a bundle!

Your R with your H is sounding wonderful! Thanks for sharing the fruits of your labor with us! You give me something to shoot for. It gives me continued hope.

Have a great weekend!
