Just a quick hello. Really busy time with the kids over the last two weeks. Basically out every day (Dundee, Perth, Bo'ness & Kinneil Railway, Loch Lomond Boat Cruise, Livingston Shopping, Edinburgh - phew!!!) and off on hols tomorrow for a long weekend. Kids really excited as we're going on a plane and a train to the seaside.
W looks rough and grey, really grey and seems to still be in significant pain. No real answers to the future, but at the minute, I'm so busy, it's not on the radar as we speak. SD is 21 next week and we discussed a joint card, but W changed her mind, so I bought my own.
Hope all the old timers are doing well and all you newbies - hold in there!

Dude. In the zone. Well done that man. Having a blast with the kids. Love it. Your WW's recovery isn't anything to do with you any more. But the kids well being is. High five for smashing it out of the park on that front.

I was just wondering the other day, in practical terms what would be the implications for both of ye if ye divorced. I am not talking about whether it is or isn't what you want. We know it isn't.

Well, happened to pick the hottest time of the year to go to the seaside - a rare thing here in the UK! Great time and the kids are happy as larry. W has been calling whilst away and seems very downbeat. Probably feeling sorry for herself and missing out on the fun. Kids with me to the end of the week.
Roist - Divorce? Not sure. Probably just a formalisation of the current situation, I suppose, apart from the legals and finalancials.
Hottest day of the year, so washing in and we're off out!

Pow!!! The kids are having a great time, so W wants her maintenance cheque 'up front' and post dated so she knows that she can pay it in on the day I get paid, because she has lots of things to pay out! Pow!!! No way. She gets her cheque after I've been paid as she decided in January that she didn't want me to put money in her bank account (that's cleared, ready to spend cash) on the day I get paid. Pow!!! she's incredibly pissed off that the kids have had a great time and really doesn't want to listen to my D tell her how much fun she had, swiftly moving on conversations and refusing to laugh at her stories (how rude). Pow!!! managed to avoid all those sucker punches and keep standing.
Never mind, we're having fun!

Three weeks (virtually)with the kids has now finished and they have gone back to W. She is still in agony and is wearing some kind of belt/girdle to keep all the bits together from the operation.
Last week I got 'kinda' asked to a small birthday tea for SD. It was a bit awkward, but we had sandwiches and cake and it was cordial. Nothing exciting really, but she didn't really say 'come round', she just said a time and we'd be having sandwiches, sort of saying they'd be something on, I'll expect you. Don't know if that is true DB'ing, but hey.
I think she made a mistake by putting an 'X' on a text to me last night (I'd sent her a photo of the kids in St. Andrews, on the beach - she's been asking for photo updates of what they're doing), but I didn't respond in kind. Right/wrong? Who knows!
Back to work tomorrow and kids coming on Friday!
