One bright spark in an otherwise not very fantastic week.
There's an autistic boy that I see when I volunteer that I haven't had a chance to work with recently. His autism is moderately severe . He lives in his own world most of the time, and only reaches out to others once in a while.
I had a hard time with him when I first started but gradually won his trust. When he saw me yesterday, he was so happy that he started laughing and singing. And he was so quiet and attentive when I was telling the children stories. Bless this little boy for touching my heart.

That is amazing, Grl. True testament to what patience and perseverance can achieve.
I am feeling optimistic that I will soon emerge victorious from my war with the lice. My takeaway from this? Better laundry skills and the knowledge that there must always be a light at the end of every (cr@ppy and licey) tunnel.
Treated myself to my favourite paella and ice lemon tea. Hmmm.
A short break before I start ironing the lice out of the bedsheets.
A nice bottle of muscato, here I come!
You can call me Dory/ Grl.
As a wise fish once sang,"Just keep swimming!"
It's no use to go back to yesterday because I was a different person then.
