I want to get back into yoga too. I took class once where me and instructor were only females! Decent amount of guys go these classes now. Sometimes with their partners sometimes alone.

I have even bigger motivation now. Going to Bachelorette party for a few nights in new orleans. And someone is talking about naked pool bar???!!! Husband really needs to break my heart and upset me now so I can stop eating again.
This is ultimate GAL. Although I am not type to go skinny dipping. Going with a very wild bunch of girls though. I'm the tame one of the group. lol cant wait!

My personal exercise plan is to continue doing crunches and pushups in the morning.
Nothing big, just 25 of each to get my blood flowing.... I will continue to try doing more (mainly running at the gym), but I've noticed that I feel A LOT better after spending about 10 minutes in the morning stretching and doing my brief workout.

I just did 15 minutes of yoga. I bought a "21 day" yoga transformation course online and just did the first one.
As far as guys in a yoga class, there are lots of men who go! I LOVE it when I am surrounded by tall muscular men in hot yoga and then when it starts getting really hot they pull off their shirts and you see the sweat just pouring off them.
I need to go back to the yoga studio. Doing yoga at home doesn't have the same perks. But then again, maybe its better for me right now to not have that distraction!
Ok, I had a sinus headache but pushed myself through a run this morning. Gonna do regular exercises later during break at work. When I finished I actually said to myself "you did great". So corny I know! Did well yesterday as well.
I actually do decently staying commited to mat exercises on my own, but definatly need to up the challenge.
The problem is I want to look like I did when I was a lot younger, but my body cannot safely do those types of workouts anymore
How's everyone else doing

Why, exactly, is congratulating yourself corny? We need all the good input we can get!
But, hey, Julie...you did great!!!
Better?
Haven't started anything, but I'm thinking I'm going to look into yoga. That is a nice, gentle way to get my body moving again and get me back into the world of regular exercise. I've got some Pilates DVD's here - but I think they might be a little too tough for my present level of fitness. Yoga. That's my plan.
I am envying you the bachelorette party! That sounds like so much fun!!! And after all you've been through - boy, do you deserve some light-hearted fun!
Ancaire, yoga sounds awesome. What about also going to cardiopulmonary physical therapy? It should be covered by insurance and you will be monitored by professionals as well.
Yeah I can't wait to go. I would never really go skinny dipping, but they have a lot of other fun stuff on itinerary. Bizarre thing is friends ex boyfriend is the one planning everything! (They are just friends from forever.) having a guy involved it totally changing the whole dynamics. No cattiness or arguments on anything it's great!
