Honestly the only reason I thought of it, was seeing it in somebody's signature a few minutes ago. I was just leafing through different sitch's and it spark my memory. I will know soon which direction my life is going so at that point (if applicable) I will bring it up. My feeling is if she gives me the answer that she wants to try, she would be for it? Why not right?

Met with XF tonight to swap S4. Anybody wondering that hasn't followed my sitch, on her days with S4,I meet her in the morning to take S4 to my parents and at night I pick him up there and meet her again. Her and my mom have a little tension so I do this to avoid any further damage.

Anyways, XF stoked the fire a little bit and said she been doing lots of thinking and she still has some to do. While we were talking, S4 started acting up so I was listening while wrestling around with him, not only to get him to quit acting up but to distract him from hearing what was being talked about. Next thing you know, S4 is giggling and squirming around. I look back at XF and she's crying. She said, NOW LISTEN UP ANY NEWBIE READING THIS!!!!! The way I have been with our kid has gained more respect and attraction than anything else I could have done for her!

I'm trying not to get my hopes up and keep my expectations down, I am FAR from out of the woods even if I do get the answer I am hoping for on Friday. But that alone showed me that everybody here is right. Be the best dad possible. Not only for your children, it's attractive!

Just to clarify the above post, I am not saying anybody should do anything I have done the past few days. That is not reccomended, I did it and now have to live with whatever the outcome is. What I did mean was about being a great dad. That moves you towards being a guy only a fool would leave.

Uphill, you are absolutely right, if you don't mind a woman's perspective on this. There is nothing more attractive than a man who is kind, patient, attentive and playful with his children.

Thanks for stopping by pho, That wasn't always me. Don't get me wrong, my son ALWAYS was #1. But I wasn't always so "involved" and "hands on". Now, I couldn't tell you the last time my couch got used while he was here because we are always on the floor playing Legos or matchboxes... Whatever he wants! And that continues until he's pretty much begging to go to bed. Them we'll toss in a movie and snuggle the night away! Nothing better than that! Except maybe having XF here with us...

This morning has gotten my hopes up a bit, I'm not gonna lie. This past week has been an amazing turnaround in communication and XF' s actions. I haven't seen this side of her in a long, long time. Anyway, back to this morning, went to meet her to get S4. I put him in his car seat and turned to walk around the car. XF was standing right behind me and wrapped me up in the best hug I have ever felt.

She is spinning and pursuing.Ridden with guilt.

Now is the time to act with grace, poise and remember to carry on Dbing.

I have kept my composure since Monday's slip. Had a moment of weakness and can't take it back. Worst case, if nothing else, it opened up a much better line of communication between us. Since my earlier post I have recieved 4 or 5 texts asking about my plans for tonight and some just small talk. Being vague but not rude, she knows where I stand so all in all I really have nothing to hide anymore but still not letting her think she's got me hooked...
