Greetings Peoples!

I had an absolutely wonderful weekend with husband.

Saturday we slept in late and then spent the day running around and doing errands. We also watched "The Hulk". Fun!

We went to Lowe's to look at Wood Chips for my labyrinth. While we were there, we realized the wood chips weren't exactly what I wanted. So, I got 10 bags of Marble Chips instead. They are white and really show up nicely against the dirt.

My parents are out of town, so I'm walking their dogs every 4 hours until they get back. (They get back today.)

Husband helped me walk the dogs. While we were at my parents house, we snagged a copy of Trivial Persuit and their new Dyson Vacuum cleaner.

Husband kicked my booty at Trivial Persuit! It was fun!

We tested out the Dyson. First, he spent an hour cleaning up and moving stuff of the floor upstairs. Then he spent at least half an hour vacuuming with our vacuum.

Then he brought up the Dyson and revacuumed.

The Dyson we used is the Purple one, specificially for animal hair.

Well, it doesn't use bags, has a clear compartment. That compartment was full of stuff!

Folks...a Dyson is on my wish list!

He was really impressed.

So, that was fun!

Sunday, we slept late again. We walked the dogs, ate lunch, and went to see "A Secret Window" for the start of our 8 Year Anniversary Celebration!

Then we went and walked around our State Botanical Gardens. Then he treated me to Outback!

Then we went and walked the dogs again. And then we played another game of TP. He kicked my booty again!

Then we watched part of a movie and finally went upstairs and !

Unfortunately we left the bedroom windows open. I think the neighbors are going to be knocking on my door to complain sometime soon. He was amused...but I was embarrased!

He told me that he loved spending the day with me. Had such a great time.

3 years ago, he wouldn't have been happy spending more than 3 hours with me.

Now he can't get enough of spending time with me. Amazing!

Hugs all!

You know I was just thinking reading you and Sage's threads is sort of like reading newlyweds threads!

It is great reading!!!

I wish CHL and I had had time like that in our marriage. After the horses came home and the one died all of our time was spent on their care rather than any with one another.

Hiya Pattie and Pam!

Thank you for visiting! Makes me feel special!

I made Husband his mom's lasagna last night.

He loved it!

He said, "Wow, you really love me!"

Pam, Labyrinth update:

I borrowed 'the claw' from my parents. This should make the digging go much easier! As it is now, I have a rock filled X in my back yard...the start of the pattern. It's going to look so great when it's done!

I'm going to visit my parents after work today as they've been out of town and I didn't visit yesterday so that I could make lasagna.

So, I'm probably not going to work on the labyrith tonight. But I'm finding that I make the most progress on the weekends. Getting the marble chips this past weekend with Husband was a big task I'm happy to have accomplished!

Hugs!

Hi PIB,

Wow lasagna, that is CHL's favorite meal and I don't know how to fix it.

Things just sound really neat between you and Monkey now. I am so happy for you two!!!

The labyrinth sounds like it is coming along pretty well.

I would still love to see a picture when it is finished!

Wahhh....

I screwed up.

I called husband at work. He said, "Hey" in a sexy way that always sets my heart racing.

Why? Not cause I am excited..but because I start thinking, "Does he realize he's talking to me? Does he think he's talking to someone else?"

So, then I say, "When you do that, I'm not sure if you realize it's me you are talking to."

He kindly responds, "Of course I know its you. I love you though."

My response shows lack of trust on my part, and certainly punishes him for a behaviour that I want to see more of.

And at the begining of his conversation he was happy and upbeat. The end of the conversation had him all serious.

Sigh.

I screwed up.

*******************************

I am feeling so down today.

I am also weepy.

Not sure why.

Is this just a crash after having an absolutely wonderful weekend?

Good Lord, could I possibly be suffering from PMS??

Whacha think?

Hugs all.

Sounds an awfully lot like PMS to me!

But, tonight you can make up for it, because you guys R is strong enough to survive PMS screw-ups.

GO PIB!!!

PS Sometimes CHL has a really sexy way of answering the phone too. I think more tone than exact words!

Pam,

Thank you for the reassurance.

I really needed that.

Big deep breath.

To quote Stephen King, "All will be well, all will be well, and a manner of things will be well."

Hugs.
