Matt I hope your weekend is good as well with the little ones. You've been holding up really well, but I know it is so hard to keep that PMA going non stop. Although I've been conflicted with my H gone this weekend, I've actually enjoyed the time to just be me, and not DB with him around.

*hugs*

I totally understand this. As much as I hate giving my girls up half of my life, it is nice to be able to have some time to really take care of myself and do things that I could never do in my "other" life. I know you'll understand what I mean when you start that new job in the fall.

Dear Eirinn,

Happy Belated Birthday! Thank you for your touching post in my thread. It made me laugh, cry and see things from a different perspective. Thanks for the PMA.

I'm happy to hear that you're enjoying the time without your H around so you can work on DB.

((((Hugs))))

Bob

Hi Eirinn,

I have just read up on your sitch. I am in a similar boat. I have my MLCer living at home with me too.

I know how hard it all is! I treat him like a house guest.

After BD my H went into serious replay. He just would go out and not say where he was going or when he'd be back. He made friends with two guys who were 50 but acted like they were 20. It left me with my worst fears: of being alone, of OW. I also have had to deal with my all my emotions toward my H who I used to always view as stable, honest and dignified.

This weekend, it hit me that he cannot even make himself happy. So how can I expect him to make me happy?

Hi Zephyr. I'm so sorry you couldn't sleep last night. Hopefully tonight will be better! The rest of my weekend went well with my S. We just hung out and played. Today I had a doctor's appointment though and he recommended surgery on my foot to counteract arthritic joints. I declined though due to starting my new job at the end of this month. I couldn't give him the three weeks in a couch that he wanted. So, I'll deal with the pain till next summer.

Had a great time playing a shopping game with my s today and will do more tomorrow. The local shops in town about 30 mins away are having a Where's Waldo game where my S has to find him and collect stamps. He had a ball, and so did I.

How are you doing? I'll go check on your sitch in a minute.

*Hugs*
E

Hi HaWho! Wow, that must have taken some time to catch up on my sitch! I'm sorry that you are in the same place I am, and seem to have been dealing with it longer too. We do seem to have many parallels, unfortunately. My H too has also been kind and thoughtful and now he's just miserable. I hate that I can't help him, but he has to want help first.

I will stop by to read your sitch. Until then, hang in there and feel free to chat.

Hi Bob and Teach!! I'm doing as well as we all are. Wish my IC would come back from vacation. Mostly I'm good though. You can see my reply to Zephyr up above for more details.

Oh, and on a quick journaling note, I have three nights of GAL this week, teaching, running a meeting, and donating red blood cells. When my H noticed that, he says so that's three nights you won't be home? I say only one I won't be home for supper. Less than a minute later he's on that darn phone.
