Ha ha! Well, you asked for it We met at a Middle Eastern restaurant...it took me two hours to get there. While I was waiting for her she texted me "Who's Tim?" and I replied it was my best friend, she says "ha ha you mis sent a text"...and I wanted to throw myself under a bus! I'd been texting earlier with my friend and talking about how nervous I was and my concerns about what was happening or not...and apparently I texted her...oops! I responded "should I feel embarrassed lol" She never replied or mentioned it again...thank God! Anyway, she called to say she was going to be late and that she was worried that I would feel bad...apparently she phoned my friend Agnes who asked her where she was and she said she was at home cleaning her room...Agnes said "You get over there and meet Whatis! Men do not like to be kept waiting and this is no way to begin a relationship with him!" She'd lost her hair brush and other items she was bringing. She arrived at the restaurant and sat down saying "I couldn't brush my hair and I've got zits on my forehead...you shouldn't have to see me like this!" Too funny. So, we ate and talked for two hours and then took the bus to Agnes place (AM was sleeping over there), I hung around for a bit and her and Agnes drove me home. Today I went to church and AM had come with Agnes. She was sitting with the other Filipina's so I didn't think she'd come to our Sabbath School class but she ditched the Filipina's and joined us. I was so happy! After that she and I went over to Agnes place for the afternoon and went to a baby shower together in the evening. AM and I have had so much fun the last two days. I've posted some FB photos of her acting silly...she just said not post any mean pictures of her or she'll spank me lol. So far, so good!
I don't think I "get" this style of dating, it is certainly confusing. Not sure how you can handle it. If things get bad - how will that affect your feelings at church? Anyway - to each his own. Hope it continues to go well. (I think it went well). Barb
