NOP,
Do you really think it's wise to put a loaded shotgun into the hands of a hormonal and sex starved pregnant woman?!?
LOL! I'd end up shooting more than the TV.

Btw, H does not watch television. It is not a problem or a factor in our R. He is quite hyper and is always on the move from the time he walks in the door. Then when we finally go to bed (I go to bed with him, even though he regularly goes to bed at 8:30) he is exhausted and falls asleep within minutes.

HOWEVER, I should note that this week has been outstanding! We've had sex every day since last Thursday (yes I keep track and I'm proud of it!!! You want a piece of me? Huh? Remember the shotgun comment from up above, NOP, and watch your step...)

Take care,
HP

P.S. SD, they don't wear maternity clothes eh! H would have a heart attack if another man saw my exposed bod, even if it wasn't an attractive feature. Thanks for the fashion advice, though.

I have fantasies imagining your beautiful body honeypot...
The best bit about pregnancy for the Dad is that in the last couple of months you can get your ear pressed up nice and low down and hear baby's heartbeat. It is the most fantastic thing and really boosts the fatherly bond. The really fun part is that the average unborn baby heartbeat is 140 beats per minute. Boys have a lower average that girls so if you count how many beats per minute you can guess if it's a boy or a girl.
My first (who is 19 years old now) had an average of 132 so I guessed he was a boy and I was right. The second had an average of 142 so I guessed girl and I was right again. The third had an average of 140 which was a difficult call but since our boy was low at 132 I presumed that the new one would be a girl. So we were going round the shops looking at all the pink stuff and then out popped a boy! So you can't rely on it but it is fun.

Dave,
Here is the worst part about my pregnancies:
I have always FELT pretty when pregnant. Now I do not look pretty, that's evident later on when I look back at pictures and stuff. But during the time, I always felt sexy and alive and very attractive!
So it was doubly hard to take when H's desire went from low to non-existant. Both times we had no sexual contact from a certain month on..can't remember which one now, but it was at the point where I started to 'show'. I used to think that the change in my physique turned him off but now I think that the big belly reminds him that there is a BABY in there and that starts to freak him out.

He is really concerned that the baby "hears" what is going on, or can feel it somehow. Now, this is an intelligent man who but this is not a rational thing with him, I suspect.

The heartbeat thing is wild! You know, he never wanted to get that close to my belly while I was pregnant. He would touch it, very lightly and not for very long. Looking back, I think he was so horny from the abstinence of 6 months that he was afraid to get anywhere NEAR my lower belly.

But this time, he's going to do this! It sounds fantastic. Thank you very very much for this suggestion. This time around, he is very different in his approach and I remain (cautiously) optimistic that it will continue, even after I get big and fat.

Thanks for the kind words.

It's funny how poeple can be so different, hp. I found my W fabulously attractive whan pregnant but she kept well covered up. She did let me love the babies from the outside though. I used to carress her tummy and talk to them. She would never allow any sex though and I respected that because she had two miscarriages. I was a bit freaked out by the third baby and did not really look forward to his birth. When she felt him coming I wouldn't believe it because it was a week early and I wasn't mentally prepared. She had to hit me with a heavy pregnancy book before I would take her to the hospital! Of course I loved him when he was born (he's 11 now).
SD - It's sunny at last in jolly old England and I've ridden my motorcycle to work so I'm looking forward to carving up all the traffic on the way home in an hour or so. Life is great!
