Thanks HWA smile It's something that Sheldon from BBT says a lot of the time and I thought it was very apt smile

lol NQ and MH. Yes that'll be a good title MH smile Hope you have a great day today all of you, whatever you've got planned smile
I switched my phone on this morning. I didn't get any messages from H, but at least I've told him about the mail now.
Looks like another miserable day today weather wise. We're going to pop out later on, my son's got some vouchers to spend at our local supermarket, but he wants me to buy us a cheap DVD to watch, lol. Just like his father! Then we'll have lunch out and come back to slob in front of the TV for the rest of the afternoon smile

lol HWA, I've not got up to that episode yet. I've only just started watching it as everyone kept saying how good it was. I bought season one the other day and I'm watching it with my son (who only wants to watch one episode every few days or so). He loves it as well and being on the autistic spectrum, he totally relates to Sheldon! I bought him a BBT T-shirt for his birthday with Sheldon on it and the words "was that sarcasm?" underneath. I thought it was perfect for my son as he doesn't understand sarcasm either smile
H has text me to say that he'll pick up his mail sometime today and asked if that was ok with me. I said yes that's fine. Very polite, we'll see what he's like when he's round here! I'm off out in a bit anyway so I may miss him smile

I've just said to my son, time to come of your games we're going out in a bit, to which he replied "no we're not!". Cheeky B! lol. We've made a deal though, he's got another 30 mind on his game and he's ok with that smile

Awwww. I LOVE Big Bang Theory! My fave show right now!

And, I love Sheldon! Wish I had a friend like him sometimes....no pretenses...totally authentic.

I taught a high school girl for a few years who was autistic...she still comes back to visit sometimes. Love her and her way of looking at the world. smile

Hi Angela, welcome to my nutty thread smile The title says it all really, lol. NQ, I know what you mean, I sometimes have to shout my son's name a few times before he responds. Then he'll say I heard you the first time!
It doesn't look like H is coming over again today. That's now 4 weeks in a row, though he'll count last monday as one of his weeks.
I can't snap out of this sadness that descended on me. I feel like I've lost H now for good and I've lost all hope as well. I'm still GALing and still got a PMA don't worry smile I'm happy, it's just when I think about H I get sad. The MR Hyde character doesn't seem to be changing back to DR Jekyll anytime soon!
H came round and collected his post whilst we were out, phew! I don't want to see him whilst he's being like this, even though he's probably not realised how he spoke to me or what he's done!
Off to church this morning, then I'll see what my friend wants to do for lunch smile We normally go for a Sunday lunch out, last time my friend cooked for us but I want her to have a rest from cooking as well smile

Then every time he comes to mind, force him out. As they say, stop giving him free rent in your head.

I know it's not easy, but I think I'm almost there. I'm at the point when I find he rarely comes to mind these days. When he does I force myself to think about anything, even my ever increasing to do list LOL.
