Things are still going well JP! Thanks buddy W and I had our usual Tuesday appt with MC today. We talked a lot about the cycle of communication. That is the most important thing we have learned. It's all abkut communication. It's always been easy for me to let out my emotions and feelings, but not so much for wife. So I would poke her like a bear. Bad idea. Now that I listen ad validate she opens up a lot more and then wouldn't you know it we communicate a whole lot better. The discussion today was about how we have fallen into a rut the past couple weeks but we have been able to communicate about it and not just let it fester.

I think falling into a rut can happen quickly and to anyone. My thoughts are married people need to either put a lot of energy into keeping life interesting and/or continue acting like they were when they were dating.
For me it's all to real, I can see it already. So easy to kick back and relax, but what fun is that?
My plan is to look at forums, magazines, books etc. on how to keep married life fun and exciting, kind of like having a cook book full of recipes ready to use!
Complacency is my enemy.
