I don't think you even have to unfriend her, I think you can simply edit your page so that her posts don't show up on it. She still shows up as your friend, you just don't see the crap she posts unless you physically go to her page.

There is some truth to the saying of "what you don't know can't hurt you." On the other hand what you do know can help you if she is posting and doing crap that furthers your case in court. Simply blocking her posts from your page does both.

Rock,

I just read your entire thread. I'm praying for you. I know that your situation could have been mine easily if my W decided to stay in our house and not leave to her mothers 1.5 hours away.

I also struggle with telling my kids the truth about my W and her EA's and PA's the time will come where they will see her for what she truly is. We unfortunately cannot control them but lead by example.

I have to say that even though your situation is bad you seem to be dealing with it in the best way you know how. Your thread has given me some comfort and has also given me another person to pray for.

Keep your head up
Brobafet

Too funny, I was just reading your thread and commenting on how similar my feelings were to yours. What a coincidence.

Does anybody know how to do this?

I think you go on her page and click the drop down button that says friends and click follow to unfollow. See if that works. Not that I spend a lot of time on FB smile

Rock,

Go to the newsfeed and find a recent post by her. You will see "shows in newsfeed" with a check mark. Click it. You'll no longer get her in the feed. Or go to her page and click on the button that says friends you'll see the same "shows in newsfeed" uncheck it.

I would recommend you unfriend her. Man I did this a few weeks ago and while the temptation to look at her page is still there I know I wont see everything she posts now and the temptation isn't as great, I find my FB time isn't focused on her and looking at her page but friends and family. Unfriend her!

Cool. I just unfollowed a bunch of people who's post were cluttering up my news feed. I also unfollowed my W. Maybe in a couple of weeks, I can take the next step and unfriend.

I am Also thinking about deleteing my married status. Thanks.

Don't delete your status yet. Wait until people know in person. Or a little longer. TBH I changed mine and many didn't even realized it till I told them.

This thread has gotten pretty long. When I started this thread, I didn't even know if I would have the courage to actually file. I had so much anxiety. It has only been a couple of months, but things have substantially changed.

Here is a link to my new thread.
