So w takes s to the dr then goes and picks up meds and buys groceries. Lots of groceries. On my dime, but it's a nice change for her to cook. She sent me texts a out how she's back in the mood to cook lately. I know I've said it before, but the blowup several weeks ago has rested in some positive changes. W is doing laundry and actually helping with chores.
Granted, she has a "me" night planned for thursday that has me ill as a hornet. Trying not to let my mind go there.

Yup, even the freeze-dried backpacking food, or MRE's are heaven after all day trekking and such. Must be the fresh air, or maybe going "more primitive" in lifestyle triggers some ancient genetic memory that ALL food tastes good and is awesome...idk...now I have to try to figure that logic defying out...

I agree T^2. You hike in 7 miles, eat bland flavorless food, and drink water that tastes like iodine and its great! I usually start craving ice cream about 10 pm though. My Achilles heel.
Just FYI, broken hearts are mended with ice cream.
