Hey Snodderly and Linda!! smile Thanks for stopping by smile

Laundry detergent disappearance solved, but still a mystery... to me.

H "put them away" in a cupboard I have never kept them in.
I keep them on the counter top of the laundry room but apparently they are supposed to be in the cupboard.
"So this way you can fold laundry on the counter top."
I fold laundry on our bed.
"But you're supposed to fold laundry in the laundry room."

Oh ha ha ha. Do I see the makings of a power struggle here?
H doesn't do laundry, but I don't do yardwork or fix cars.

Shall I start telling him where he should keep his tools?

I've kept everything down now for about 36 hours. I was alternating apple juice with ginger ale - even went to the health food store and got "real" gingered ale. I think I felt better yesterday than today.

Made it to the track meet (in the pouring rain!! At least it wasn't cold). S16 qualified for state in the 4X400. He's quite excited smile

When he texted me that, I refused to ASK him to come home. The casino is only 2 hours from home, he knew how sick I was, why would I have to ask? After the 2nd pass-out though, I was getting worried about the kids finding me unresponsive
frown so I texted "I'm starting to really wish you were here."
He never addressed that "wish" and didn't come home either. So I think he feels he's covered his tail by "offering" to come home.

He told me he and the Tramp were on the Staten Island ferry, but he'd be home by 5 pm. He showed up three days later.

Oh goodness Linda, I am sorry. That was awful treatment.
frown When they do these type of far out things though, I do think it goes to show how far off kilter they really are. They behave to us in a way people wouldn't even behave to acquaintances... its clearly irrational.

I sometimes wonder if the scope of Mental Illness will ever cover this stuff...

Anyway. Gotta get off my duff and get some housework done. (I'm debating about where I should keep the laundry detergent lol)
I have a shift at wonderfuljob today, and an all day shift at fastfoodland tomorrow.

Hoping for a piece of peace to all.

Hi Miz J!

Glad you are feeling better, and got to go to your son's track meet. That's great that he qualified for states!

That's funny about the laundry detergent. Really, who can say what goes on in their mixed- up minds? I can think of a good place you could tell him to stick his tools...

Have a good Saturday smile

Are you feeling up to working Mz. J? So happy you're better! And that you made it to the track meet, a great accomplishment. I'm at my ER job, nice patients, it's nice to be appreciated. And it helps block out my sitch for 12 hours.

Hope you're all having a great weekend!

whistle Yeah, I know lol. While he was explaining how he "put away" an item he never uses... I had the good guy - bad guy - on the shoulder fight going on over what I would respond. Finally good guy got bad guy in a hammerlock so I managed to just squeak out. "oh"

Apparently not. Got to fastfoodland, felt the queazies come upon me, let my boss know (fortunately was fave boss) and I was gone in an hour. Home and back in bed. After a four hour nap I am feeling quite better and hopefully ready for the week to come.

Yes, S16 is very excited about going to state. The relay's time is probably not good enough to get them past prelims, but S16's all excited anyway. Going to mean a juggle for everyone's transport, and S16's attempt to join in the school Florida trip (koo koo boy, smh) so fingers crossed everything is smooth sailing.

smile Hope everyone is ready for their week. Getting time to start a new thread... have to think of a good title.

Peace smile

Oh MzJ you poor thing. I'm glad your nice boss was on. It's probably a good idea for fastfoodland to let a barfing employee go home, unless they want to be on the news as the next chain whose customers came down with a mysterious bug!

Are both of the boys going on the class trip to FL? That will be so fun for them! When are the States?

Feel better my friend!
