Hugs to you and Corey while you take care of your sweet girl while she is sick and best wishes for Finn to come through this illness more quickly than estimated.

One of my wonderful mom friends is dealing with a lot right now. Her daughter, June, is Finn's best friend. She was Finn's 1st real roommate in the hospital...we were there with her when the drs told her to love her daughter while she had her (you would think that would be something they would ask another family to leave before sharing with the family there but...it is what it is)
Anyway...she and I have stayed in touch and see eachother as often as we can (we live about 3 hours apart)
June has not been doing too well (but far outlasted that initial doom and gloom...she turned 3 this past summer and we met when both girls where 6 months (FInn) and 3 months (June)) and Kati feels as though this may be the beginning of the end.
If you could say some prayers...for a miracle for June. Three years is not long enough...she has many more years to live and none of us are ready yet.
So sorry for all your friend is going through. I will certainly say prayers for Both Kati and June. You know I went through this with Ryan at age 4 and he survived by the Grace of God and many many prayers. None of his hospital roomies did. No child should have to go through this nor should any parent.
she is hanging in there. She has sever coilitis now and continues to be on medication to keep her blood pressure up. She can not be touched because it causes her to become aggitated and seize. Her tummy is full of fluid and they are not sure why but she has bloated to 73cm and they can not find anything to drain.
She remains deeply sedated and has not opened her eyes in over 20 days
