Kids are great, tho I am having a tag-team visit with them. DD left late afternoon yesterday, she lives in San Diego and works at the Wild Animal Park. DS came in later, so his dad picked him off and dropped him off last last night. Son is sleeping, so I will see him soon! He is going to college in NYC, Hunter College. So they are both doing quite well, and they are both in great long term relationships. (big sigh of relief)

SWL, " I am now happily married and living in Alaska. My daughter and son-in-law work for *the mouse* in SoCal and my son has just started working as a paramedic and firefighter here in Alaska. I am so thankful for the support and friendships found here on the board, some which migrated to real life and even eventually marriage."
All GREAT news! What part of Alaska? What a change for you! My D graduated a few years ago and her BF also went to SLO. Does your D love working for the mouse? DD has mixed feelings about the animal park, but she has worked in her field since graduation and has been steadily employed and on her own. I am so proud of her independence!
Glad you are happy and thriving! Don't let the winter darkness get you down! Good to hear from you,
SG

Blessings and lots of them! I'm thankful I've had this time to learn to love me which I realized I had never done. I know who I am and what I want and I'm in love with being alive. The anger I carried for most of my life has taken up residence somewhere else and only shows its ugly head in appropriate places.
I'm thankful for the many friends I've made over the past three years and for my 'older' friends who stuck by my side through the worst of times.
I, too am thankful for each and every man I've had the pleasure of getting to know who showed me a side of me I had never seen before. Each one has pushed me a little closer to the amazing man who will someday be in my life.
My little house is everything I want and every day I can't wait to come home to the warmth and safety of its walls.
I'm grateful for my health and for being able to still do all the things I've ever physically wanted to and more.
Happy Thanksgiving!
