Hey Busting, thanks for checking in.

We're all tired and sore from all the hard work. And a bit cranky at times, too. There is some very satisfying visual progress, so that helps a lot.

I'll be on the road next week, then home a week, then P will be leaving.

how has it been for you emotionally? is it getting easier to stay calm and detached?

Hey NG. I think of T^2 and the feral cat. Sometimes I'm fine, but sometimes I just want to scream.

Hi SD, i love that feral cat analogy too. and way to go for not screaming.. that is so very hard when our emotions are triggered.. sounds like you are becoming a pro at sitting with your feelings... (((((((( ))))))))

Hi SD, yes definitely a pro! I think of the feral cat as well...one time when i told my friend about that analogy she 'corrected' me and said feral rat....because of the wanting to scream part of it.

Can you stay in touch while you are on the road?

Hey picnic sisters! Thanks for checking in. I'm relieved to say that I was able to get a coaching session for later this week. I feel like a need a boost in the home stretch.

I don't know if I went into this visit with expectations, but I did have some big fat hopes. As things wind down and they don't materialize, it gets harder.

Today's mantras... She is on her own journey. It's not about me and certainly not about my time frame.

Hi SD,

I love your mantra!

Glad you have a coaching session this week. I have one on Thursday so I'm excited about that. I look forward to both of us getting a boost.

Good luck on your home stretch in the meantime.

Hey Wendy. Thanks. I have another mantra today: Go to bed early! I know that emotions are exacerbated when I'm short on sleep...

Love that mantra, SD. I am going to steal it!

I am glad you are getting a coaching session. I would imagine you have lots of feelings coming up now with her visit ending soon. I know I would if I were in your shoes.

I love how respectful you are of your P's journey.

I saw this quote yesterday and thought you might like it: "By not knowing, not hoping to know and not acting like we know what's happening, we begin to access our inner strength." Pema Chodron

I think this is what you have been doing during her visit. You have been so strong! (((((((((((((( ))))))))))))))))))
