Thanks Kaffe: I'm a bigtime reader and researcher, so I love the book recommendation. I'm just surprised everyone here doesn't already have a favorite or two that helped them. Divorce for Dummies would be right up my alley, since I made all decisions up until this point in my life as if divorce was not an option. So I have some work to do to get up to speed.

But I can use my company's accounts if I really need to keep an expense private from H. I guess I do need to open one somewhere.

I'm sorry you're going through this. I am too. I want to DB my marriage but have to be ready for me and my daughter's sake that my WAH will go through with this no matter what I do. You have to prepared and I think you are asking some great questions. I really don't have any advice but just want to offer support.

Thank you Jessica. I'm surprised with all the people who've been through this that there isn't one really helpful resource people can recommend for us wives who find ourselves in this spot.
I'm currently evaluating between a financial planner who specializes in marriage and divorce ($) or collaborative divorce professionals ($$$) and am taking it slowly since it's overwhelming and my H doesn't appear to have solid plans yet.
I think I'm going to throw the $250 at a consultation with the FP who specializes in marriage and divorce.
