As ironic as this will seem: Neither Michele nor Virginia nor Jack nor I are for heavy moderation. And yet I moderate heavily at times due to current policies that were born of necessity.
In the history of this board, the first many years were not heavily moderated and there was great input. We are looking to return to that free and easy feeling.
It certainly isn't about editing links that are 'positive, encouraging, heartwarming and inspiring'. The policy about links was made to be fair and even without regard to the content...for better or worse. The only other edits are for those recommendations that are against DB principles.
