For now, find legal advice, and try to stop living in the land of "what ifs"...
^^^this is key right now. The "what if" needs to be replaced with "I am going to do this followed by this and etc..." Live your day with purpose - live the day for you not your W or the memory of your M. Easier said than done, right?
Me: 44 Bomb: 11/27/11 Divorced:6/12 Life goes on: 6/13
The hardest part to swallow is I put so much effort in DB and she never even gave me a chance. She finally brought out the best man in me that I had to offer her and she will never even reep the benefits. Sad Sad day. Do I have a chance?
There is always a chance....
If I told you that you had one chance in a million, what would you say ?
If I told you that you had a 80% chance, what would you say ?
Two extremes indeed. One looks much more promising than the other.
What is your game plan for changing the odds ???
Sometimes, unfortunately, divorce does happen. Sometimes the WAS has to feel that their slate is wiped clean before they feel they can move forward in their lives. Doesn't mean that it can't happen again, or Websters would strike the word re-marry from it's pages.
Read Figgeroni's post to you from earlier in this thread.
Have you had any legal counsel yet ?
I know this sux dude.
You will come through this.

My gameplan is to detach and work on my self even more. I no longer initate contact. So far so good there. We did meet Thursday evening and went to see my step dad who is ill right now. We both care very deeply about one anothers family. After seeing him we also went to dinner. I didn't ask any questions about R and she didn't meantion anything further about the dissolution she requested about last Sunday. At this point I'm just hoping by not having much contact with her she will focus more on oh crap is this really what I want instead of her seeing me as pursuing her. This is my LRT if it doesn't work Im prepared but atleast I'll know in my heart of hearts I truly gave it my all.
