Sounds awesome! Enjoy the sunshine and the time with your S10!! cool

Ok I am not sure which I am more jealous of your weather or that you have a zoo! I love the zoo! It is HOT here still think it is going to be in the 90's as usual. I really do miss fall.

I hope you have a great weekend with your boys!

Feeling a bit..oh I don't know...down or melancholy tonight.
I'm glad it's friday, I had a hectic day at work and I am glad to be able to unwind. However, it reminds me of yet another weekend without my H.

Our friday nights used to consist of us on the couch, me reading a book and him watching one of his shows or a hockey game or something. I'd usually fall asleep on the couch and he'd wake me up and help me to bed. God I miss those days.

The fact that he is across town, with her just kills me. He is my husband, not hers. Yes, he made the decision to leave and do whatever it is he is doing, so why am I so h*ll bent on trying to fight for our M?

I honestly cannot remember the last night I had a good nights sleep. I finally broke down and bought a sleep aid tonight. I am hoping they will help.

So yeah...that's how I'm doing tonight.

I know where you are coming from DG. Lots of little routines like that I miss. I'm just hanging around the apartment myself tonight, but that's ok. Taking a quick break from streaming movie and hoping my sleep routine catches back up by Sunday since I have to get up early.

It will get better, but there's a lot of heartache along the way.

Big hugs!

Another Friday night solo act here. Sam Adams Octoberfest, back-to-back episodes of "How I Met Your Mother", dogs at my feet and a surprise visit from SS24 earlier this evening. I feel a little lonely, but for the most part it's OK.

DG, I understand your statement about your H being across town with someone else; I'm in the same boat with my W (her OM arrived today to be her "housemate", as she is telling everyone). It hurts but it's out of our control.

You're right, LP...a lot of heartache along the way. Big hugs to both of you.

They are thinking only of themselves.

SS24 is in town for the weekend. He is disgusted (his word) with his mother, and will not make any attempt to see her or talk to her while he is here.

It's pretty pathetic when the WAS's alienate their own kids.

DG, hugs to you ((())),

Sometimes those little stupid routine things you did on particular nights are the things you miss the most.

I slept better last night than I have in weeks.
Granted, I did have to take a sleeping pill to achieve it, but it was worth it. It was so nice not to toss and turn.

This morning the kids & I rearranged my bedroom. It had not been done in almost 10 years, seriously. You wouldn't believe the dust bunnies I vacuumed up! My room looks great and I am so thankful that they helped me. I can't believe how strong my S15 is. All that farm work paid off.

It isn't nearly as nice out as they said it was going to be, but we're going to go to the zoo anyway.
